Waste oil, once treated, is
used as a fuel by power stations for the generation of electricity.
Antifreeze, brake fluid, petrol and
diesel wastes are re-used as a blended fuel in cement kilns for the
manufacture of cement.
Oil filters are processed to
extract the oil from the metal. The oil is used by power stations, the scrap
metal is smelted for re-use.
Batteries are processed to
extract the lead which is recycled for re-use.
Tyres are either retreaded for
re-use or granulated and used as crumb for play areas, equestrian centres
etc.
